These tests are for screening. A result is not a diagnosis: only a psychiatrist or psychologist can make one, after talking with you.
Your answers are scored on this device and never sent. Only your result is saved, with the email address you confirm.
Confirm your email address
Before the test we send a 6-digit code to your email address. Your result is saved with it, so that our team can help you if you wish. The email with the code contains no health information.
For each statement, choose how well it describes you.
Choosing an answer takes you to the next question. You can go back at any time.
Your result
High acceptance of commitment and authority
Your answers show that you attach great importance to staying committed to an organisation, progressing through effort and patience, and respecting authority. The scale's authors see this outlook as closer to the values they associate with Generation X.
Moderate acceptance of commitment and authority
Your answers show a balanced attitude to organisational commitment and authority: in some respects you value loyalty and effort, in others you put your own expectations first. According to the scale's authors, this attitude sits between the two generations.
Low acceptance of commitment and authority
Your answers show that you attach less importance to staying with one organisation for a long time and to going along with authority. The scale's authors see this outlook as closer to the values they associate with Generation Z.

Take your result as a rough guide, not a diagnosis. How you feel over time, and a conversation with a specialist, tell much more than a questionnaire.
Talk it through with a specialist
If your result worries you, or you would like to talk it through, our psychiatrists can review it with you, free and without obligation.

About this test
The Üsküdar XYZ Generation Differences Scale, developed in 2022 by Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Assoc. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal, is a set of 12 separate scales; the Organisational Commitment and Authority Scale is one of them. It has 11 statements (belonging and trust dimensions) and takes about 3 minutes. The result shows how close your values are to those the authors attribute to Generations X and Z; it is not a personality assessment or a diagnosis.
