- For everyone
These tests are for screening. A result is not a diagnosis: only a psychiatrist or psychologist can make one, after talking with you.
Your answers are scored on this device and never sent. Only your result is saved, with the email address you confirm.
Confirm your email address
Before the test we send a 6-digit code to your email address. Your result is saved with it, so that our team can help you if you wish. The email with the code contains no health information.
For each statement, choose how well it describes you.
Choosing an answer takes you to the next question. You can go back at any time.
Your result
Low individualism and self-expression
Your answers show that you are not much inclined to put your own needs first or to take the easy way, and that you express yourself in a more measured and cautious way, especially on social media. The scale's authors see this pattern as closer to the values they associate with Generation X.
Moderate individualism and self-expression
Your answers show a middle position on individualism and convenience and on self-confidence and self-expression. According to the scale's authors, this attitude sits between the two generations.
High individualism and self-expression
Your answers show a strong tendency to put your own needs first and to prefer what comes easily, and that you express yourself confidently and freely, especially on social media. The scale's authors see this pattern as closer to the values they associate with Generation Z.

Take your result as a rough guide, not a diagnosis. How you feel over time, and a conversation with a specialist, tell much more than a questionnaire.
Talk it through with a specialist
If your result worries you, or you would like to talk it through, our psychiatrists can review it with you, free and without obligation.

About this test
The Üsküdar XYZ Generation Differences Scale, developed in 2022 by Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Assoc. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal, is a set of 12 separate scales; the Self-Evaluation Scale is one of them. It has 10 statements (individualism and convenience; self-confidence and self-expression) and takes about 2 minutes. The result shows how close your values are to those the authors attribute to Generations X and Z; it is not a personality assessment or a diagnosis.
