About this test

The Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale looks at how much fear or anxiety you feel in social and performance situations, and how often you avoid them. The same 24 situations are asked about twice, first for anxiety and then for avoidance (48 questions, about 10 minutes). The result gives an idea of how strong your social anxiety is; it is not a diagnosis and does not replace an assessment by a professional.
