Clin. Psych. S. Aybeniz Yıldırım

Clinical psychologist S. Aybeniz Yıldırım was born in Istanbul in 1992. She completed an English-medium bachelor's degree in psychology at FMV Işık University in 2015, after which an Erasmus traineeship took her to a preschool in the United Kingdom. In 2019 she graduated from the clinical psychology master's programme at Üsküdar University.

Experience

As an undergraduate she attended many training programmes and seminars and did volunteer work. In 2012 she held regular sessions with children at the Tarlabaşı Community Centre (Tarlabaşı Toplum Merkezi). In 2013 she gained hands-on special education experience with children with special needs and their families at the Yağmur Çocuklar Psychological Counselling Centre, and in 2014 she interned in the psychological counselling unit of Nişantaşı Işık Schools.

Her professional career started in 2016, when she joined the Özel Değişim Special Education and Rehabilitation Center as a psychologist. During her clinical psychology master's she interned at NPİSTANBUL Hospital and at Üsküdar University's Psychological Counselling Unit. After graduating, she went on to direct the Özel Çekmeköy Special Education and Rehabilitation Center.

Since 2020 she has been a child and adolescent psychologist in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit of Üsküdar University Etiler Medical Center.
