Born in Istanbul, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with honours in 2017, having spent part of 2015 studying at the University of Beira Interior. She went on to specialise with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, completed in 2019; her thesis explored “The Role of Emotion Regulation Strategies in Individuals with Social Anxiety Disorder.”
