About
Clinical psychologist and psychotherapist Sera Elbaşoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1984. She took her bachelor's degree in psychology at Hacettepe University in 2006. In 2020 she completed the clinical psychology master's programme at Üsküdar University; her thesis compared anxiety levels in patients with and without psychotic features.
Professional experience
From 2007 to 2016 she worked at Erenköy Mental and Nervous Diseases Training and Research Hospital, gaining experience across several departments and patient groups in both the inpatient units and the outpatient clinic. At the hospital's Erenköy Psychotherapy Center she also treated people with personality disorders in individual and group psychotherapy.
She moved to NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital in November 2016. Since April 2022 she has been a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist at Üsküdar University NP Feneryolu Medical Center, and she lectures part-time at Üsküdar University.
