Sena Kalaz studied psychology at Üsküdar University and qualified as a specialist through two master's degrees there. In Clinical Psychology her thesis was "Internalized Stigma in Individuals Receiving Inpatient Treatment for Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders, and the Relationship Between These and Treatment Motivation in Individuals Receiving Inpatient Treatment for Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders." In Addiction Counseling and Rehabilitation she completed the project "Comorbidity of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders."
While studying, she served as an intern psychologist and researcher in the AMATEM (addiction treatment) clinic of NPİSTANBUL Hospital. Ms. Kalaz now works as a clinical psychologist at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital.
