About
Clinical psychologist Nurşen Göktan Ünlü was born in Istanbul in 1985; she is married and the mother of two children. After finishing high school at Asfa College, she graduated with honours from the psychology department of Maltepe University.
She went on to complete a master's degree in clinical psychology at Üsküdar University, also with honours, writing her thesis on work with children diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her internships were at NP Istanbul Psychiatric Hospital and at Moodist Psychiatric and Neurological Hospitals.
In her posts at Çekmeköy Municipality, Pen Academy Psychological Counselling Center and Medivia Hospital, Ms. Ünlü provided therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. She makes effective use of psychological testing in diagnosis and assessment and draws on a range of therapeutic approaches.
