Can Karpat was born in Istanbul in 1991. A graduate of Galatasaray High School, he studied psychology in France, earning his bachelor's degree at Université Nice Sophia Antipolis in Nice. He continued with a master's in psychoanalytically oriented Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at Université Paul Valéry Montpellier III in Montpellier.
Back in Türkiye, he completed a master's degree at Üsküdar University with the thesis "An Investigation of Stress Levels and Stress Coping Methods in Women Undergoing In Vitro Fertilization Treatment." His clinical experience as an intern psychologist spans Bakırköy Hospital for Mental and Nervous Disorders, Léon-Jean Grégory Psychiatric Hospital and NPİSTANBUL Hospital.
