About
Clinical psychologist İpek Erol Sunay was born in Antalya in 1993. She studied psychology at Yeditepe University on a scholarship, graduating in 2017. At Üsküdar University she then earned two master's degrees: clinical psychology in 2019, which gave her specialist status, and addiction counselling and rehabilitation in 2020.
Experience
While an undergraduate she interned as a psychologist at numerous counselling centres. Her clinical psychology internships were at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, and as an intern at NP Feneryolu Medical Center she gained experience in cognitive behavioural therapies. She took part in social responsibility projects and fieldwork with Kaçuv and the World Human Relief Association.
For two years she worked as a clinical psychologist in the addiction unit of the French Lape Hospital (Fransız Lape Hastanesi) in Istanbul. She is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association.
