About
Aziz Görkem Çetin is from Ankara. He graduated with honours in psychology from Okan University and then completed the Clinical Psychology master's program at Üsküdar University, where his thesis explored "The Relationship Between Decision-Making Processes and Cravings in Substance Dependence."
In 2016 he carried out clinical interviews and psychological testing for "Exercise Your Brain, Renew Yourself," a project funded by the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA).

Approach and areas of work
Because every client's psychological make-up and needs are different, Mr. Çetin works holistically. He draws on psychodynamic psychotherapies (transference-focused, Masterson and time-limited dynamic psychotherapy), cognitive-behavioural therapy, emotion-focused therapy and relational psychotherapy.
He sees adolescents and adults for depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, trauma- and stress-related disorders, relationship difficulties, identity and developmental issues, and personality disorders. He belongs to the Turkish Psychologists Association and the Psychotherapy Institute Association.
He has taught graduate students at Üsküdar University since 2014 and provides psychotherapy for adolescents and adults at NPİSTANBUL Hospital.
