These tests are for screening. A result is not a diagnosis: only a psychiatrist or psychologist can make one, after talking with you.
Your answers are scored on this device and never sent. Only your result is saved, with the email address you confirm.
Confirm your email address
Before the test we send a 6-digit code to your email address. Your result is saved with it, so that our team can help you if you wish. The email with the code contains no health information.
For each statement, show how confident you are that you could do what it describes, or cope with it, by choosing the option that fits you best. Answer naturally, as it comes to you.
Choosing an answer takes you to the next question. You can go back at any time.
Your result
Your marital maturity score
Your total can range from 19 to 114; the higher it is, the more confident you are that you can manage the emotional, financial, social and physical sides of marriage. The area scores show where you feel ready and where you feel less ready. It can help to talk through the areas where you feel less ready with your future spouse, or with a family and couples counsellor.

Take your result as a rough guide, not a diagnosis. How you feel over time, and a conversation with a specialist, tell much more than a questionnaire.
Talk it through with a specialist
If your result worries you, or you would like to talk it through, our psychiatrists can review it with you, free and without obligation.

About this test
The Marital Maturity Scale was developed by Yıldız (2017) to assess how ready unmarried people are for marriage and how well they could cope with crises that may arise in married life. It has 19 statements, takes about 4 minutes and gives scores in four areas: emotional, economic, social and biological. Higher scores indicate greater marital maturity; the result is not a judgement but a prompt for reflection.
