These tests are for screening. A result is not a diagnosis: only a psychiatrist or psychologist can make one, after talking with you.
Your answers are scored on this device and never sent. Only your result is saved, with the email address you confirm.
Confirm your email address
Before the test we send a 6-digit code to your email address. Your result is saved with it, so that our team can help you if you wish. The email with the code contains no health information.
Answer the questions thinking of your romantic relationship (your spouse or partner), choosing the number from 1 to 7 that fits you best.
Choosing an answer takes you to the next question. You can go back at any time.
Your result
Your relationship satisfaction score
Your total can range from 7 to 49; the higher it is, the more satisfied you are with your relationship. There is no fixed cut-off, but a score near the bottom of the range suggests that your needs are not being met in the relationship at the moment. If that is how you feel, talking openly with your partner, or seeing a couples therapist together, can help.
- Total score
- out of 49
Take your result as a rough guide, not a diagnosis. How you feel over time, and a conversation with a specialist, tell much more than a questionnaire.
Talk it through with a specialist
If your result worries you, or you would like to talk it through, our psychiatrists can review it with you, free and without obligation.

About this test
The Relationship Assessment Scale was developed by Hendrick (1988) to measure satisfaction in romantic relationships and was adapted into Turkish by Curun (2001). The Turkish form has 7 questions, each answered on a 7-point scale, and takes about 2 minutes. Higher scores mean greater relationship satisfaction; the result is not a verdict on your relationship but a prompt for reflection.
