Dr. Celal Şalçini

Dr. Celal Şalçini is a neurologist who has practised at NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital since 2013, where he also pursues ongoing scientific research in neurology. Born in Prizren, Kosovo, in 1978, he speaks English, Serbian and Bosnian fluently.

Education

He finished Prizren Science High School in 1996 and started medical school at the University of Pristina that same year. He later continued his studies at Kocaeli University School of Medicine, attending from 1999 and graduating in 2005. Specialist training in neurology followed from 2006 to 2011 at the Department of Neurology of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, where he concentrated on electrophysiology, dementias and movement disorders.

Career

Before moving to NPİSTANBUL, he taught as an instructor at Üsküdar University in 2012–2013. Outside medicine, classical Turkish music is one of his favourite pastimes.
